School time performance: October 21 at 9:45AM

Young people ages 9 - 18 are eligible to audition. Nineyear olds must have completed two sessions of classes with Concord Youth Theatre since the age of six. Previous class experience for those 10 - 18 is helpful but not required. There are no audition materials to prepare.

Those accepted into the company must make a serious rehearsal commitment of three afternoons a week: Monday, Wednesday & Thursdays 3:45 - 6PM, and to all performance dates. In addition, cast members will rehearse daily during Tech Week, which begins the weekend of October 12th.

Tuition for Mainstage Company is $380 ($361 for CYT members). Limited financial aid is available; requests must be made in writing to the Artistic Director, Lisa Evans.

Looking for an outlet for your creative imagination? Are you at your best in front of a crowd? Then we are looking for you! Audition for a chance to participate in a performance troupe that's not for the faint of heart. We will cast actors who will be expected to improvise lines, sing songs, tell jokes and be outrageously silly in front of a live audience. Each week, a select cast of actors will rehearse and perform their own new and improved version of a children's story. Actors will gain first hand knowledge of audience dynamics and how to "work the crowd" whild guiding audience participation.

CYT TAKES A COMMITMENT TO THE PERFORMANCE COMPANY SERIOUSLY. PLEASE REVIEW THE REHEARSAL SCHEDULE, TECH WEEK, & PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE BEFORE AUDITIONING. ALL TECH WEEK REHEARSALS ARE MANDATORY.

PLEASE DO NOT AUDITION IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT.
