TAKE A SEAT" CAMPAIGN NOW UNDERWAY!

To all past and present Act/Tunes and CYT families and "kids," CYT has opened their new home and we are very excited. Finally, after seven long and trying years, we have a permanent home again. Our brand new black box theater opened in March 2013 at 358 Baker Ave in West Concord. Thanks to some of our very generous friends, we were able to build and equip this wonderful new space.

We purchased beautiful and comfortable spring loaded theater seats. In an effort to raise funds for our building costs we have launched our "Take A Seat" campaign. For a donation of $500, CYT will place a permanent plaque on one of the new seats in the theater with your name engraved on it! CYT has had an impact on so many young people over its rich 36 year history; if CYT has touched you or your children please help us to continue to grow in our new beautiful home. These are a wonderful gift idea or you could find some of your old cast mates and chip in for a "show seat," for example, "The Cast of Charlotte's Web, 2012."

Every year we have an exciting line-up for our musical and dramatic production season, which in the 2012-2013 season includes Once On This Island, How To Eat Like A Child, Clue: The Musical, Pinocchio, Velveteen Rabbit, Fee Fi Fo Fum, and The Wedding Singer.

For over 30 years, Concord Youth Theatre has impacted the lives of thousands of area children and young adults building confidence, skills, self-esteem and community through experiential theatre education.

We offer a full complement of classes and workshops for actors of all ages. CYT performers entertain thousands of families every season with bold and innovative family theatre, providing many children with their first introduction to live theatre. In addition to our own Mainstage and Young Adult Performance Company productions, CYT offers Playtime Theatre, Saturday morning fun for our youngest audience members, and  Guest Artist performances by adult Theatre arts professionals.
